1. Create curiosity – You have about 20 seconds to capture your viewers attention, use words or phrases such as “Shocking Truth”, “Amazing steps to…”, “3 Secret words to use…”, ” In this video you will discover……” etc.
2. Come across as being an expert, this is easily accomplished by doing a little bit of research on the topic that you are making the video on.
3. Cliff Hanger: People likes suspense, give them something to look forward to e.g ” At the end of this video I will give you access to my free……
4. Add keywords using Google keyword tool or keywordspy.com. This is a very important step.
5. Call to action: Be a leader and ask for action on the part of the viewer- Go to my website, enter your information etc
Following this simple 5 step process will dramatically increase the effectiveness of your video. This is not really rocket science. The main thing is to just get out there and do it. You may initially feel somewhat hesitant in front of the camera, but 3 or 4 videos later, you are going to feel just fine.
